a little about me...

Amanda is originally from Boston, where she fortunately did not pick up the infamous accent, but did fall in love with acting. She is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan with a BFA in Theatre Performance/Acting in 2020.

 

Currently, Amanda is an actor, writer, and director. She is theatrically repped by BRS Gage with Mark Redanty in NYC and Sarabeth Schedeen in LA. Her manager is Sandra Parod at Voltage Arts. She is SAG-Eligible.

She now lives in LA where she studies at the Groundlings Improv School and LA Connection Comedy, as well as writes for the screen. Her original web-series, Millie & Maddie, which she wrote, directed, and starred in, is taking on the internet full force. 

 

She has starred on two webseries, four short films, and booked her first co-star on the new AMC studios show "Kevin Can F*ck Himself" starring Annie Murphey (Schitt's Creek). She won Best Actress for the 2022 Golden Hour Film Festival for her work in Spirit Hand.

Her onstage work includes The Great Leap at the Clevelend Playhouse, The Link Theatre's production of All in the Timing, and Flint Repertory Theatre's production of Into the Woods (Little Red). To see more of her credits, click here. 

 

At Michigan, Amanda created her own independent sitcom, Woman In Training (@womanintrainingofficial). She wrote, directed, and starred in this project, with the goals empower queer voices into mainstream media. She also was the Developmental Director for We the PROUD Polycultural Productions, a UofM student organization that does advocacy curation on campus and fully produces shows.

Outside of Michigan, Amanda has studied Acting and Musical Theatre in NYC with Broadway Artists Alliance. She studied devising physical theatre in Greece as an apprentice with One Year Lease. She has also worked as an Acting Coordinator for the NYC non-profit for Broadway For All.

 

She fosters dogs, and takes care of elderly in her community. She also loves cats and plants even though she is allergic to both. You can follow her shananagins on her instagram @amaaanda_please.
